- mezcal
- 3⁄4 oz
- Green Chartreuse
- 3⁄4 oz
- maraschino liqueur
- 3⁄4 oz
- lime juice
- 3⁄4 oz
- pineapple juice
- 1
- thyme sprig as garnish
Shake it Up
- Shake all ingredient with ice
- Strain into coupe
- Garnish with thyme sprig

A Last Word riff with Mezcal, hence the name Ultima Palabra (Last Word in Spanish).
Notes & Review
Many people make this drink without the pineapple juice. Make it both ways and choose the one you like more. This drink (without the pineapple or thyme garnish) is sometimes called the Closing Argument. Use fresh pinapple juice if you decide to go that route. It came out pretty wonderfully, in my humble view, just as nice as the original.
