Highball
Ingredients
- kosher salt for rim
- 2 oz
- jalapeño-infused Siembra Azul Blanco Tequila
- 1 oz
- grapefruit juice
- 3⁄4 oz
- lime juice
- 1⁄2 oz
- simple syrup
- soda water to top off
- 1
- lime wheel as garnish
Shake it Up
- Rim highball glass with kosher salt
- Shake all ingredients (except club soda) with ice
- Strain into highball glass filled with ice
- Top with club soda
- Garnish with lime wheel; serve with a straw
Notes & Review
Refreshing and delicious. High-quality citrus is paramount here. It's well-balanced between the lime and grapefruit although some might prefer to add a bit more grapefruit and less lime (maybe 1 1/4 and 1/2, respectively) to make it more "Paloma-ish". The jalapeño flavor and kick makes this drink even more special. Great for brunch or a hot summer day.
