Background & History

Created by bartender Chris Elford at Amor y Amargo in New York City, the Sharpie Mustache was so-named because it packs a punch, and Chris was envisioning the patron he made it for passing out drunk, and having a mustache drawn with a Sharpie on their face.

Notes & Review

Some recipes call for just one dash of bitters. Most recipes don't call for ice in the glass, but serving over a large ice cube definitely would work, or keep it up and serve in a coupe or Nick & Nora.
