Ingredients

1 oz: Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whiskey
³⁄₄ oz: Del Maguey Chichicapa Mezcal
¹⁄₂ oz: Bénédictine
¹⁄₂ oz: Dolin Dry Vermouth
2 dash: Bittermens Xocolatl Mole Bitters
1: orange twist as garnish

Stir it Up

Stir all ingredients over ice
Strain into coupe
Garnish with orange twist

Notes & Review

A strong, dry cocktail that works pretty well considering the unique blend of ingredients. Hints of chocolate with the orange twist play nicely. Definitely very different from a Manhattan, and I prefer the original.
