Shake it Up

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice
  2. Strain into coupe

Background & History

"This is one of several cocktails inspired by the worst days of our battles with our community board, aka CB3." - Phil Ward Ingredient-wise, this seems to be a riff on the Monkey Gland (gin-based) or Glandula del Mono (tequila-based), but hold the absinthe. It's also very similar to the Ward 8 (whiskey-based).

Notes & Review

The rum gives this some funk but if you like that sort of thing, this is a fun, drinkable and citrusy cocktail.
