Ingredients

112 oz
London Dry gin
13 oz
Campari
13 oz
grapefruit juice
tonic water to top off
1
grapefruit twist as garnish
1
supremed grapefruit wedge as garnish

Directions

  1. Add gin, Campari and grapefruit juice to a highball glass, filled with ice
  2. Top off with tonic water, and gently stir once or twice
  3. Express grapefruit twist over drink, and discard
  4. Garnish with supremed grapefruit wedge

Background & History

Created by Khristian de la Torre in Mexico City, this refreshing cocktail got its name from its light pink hue, but also because the supremed grapefruit garnish looks like a little salmon swimming on the rocks upriver.
