Ingredients
- 11⁄2 oz
- vanilla vodka
- 1⁄2 oz
- passion fruit liqueur
- 1 oz
- passion fruit puree
- 1⁄2 oz
- lime juice
- 1⁄2 oz
- vanilla syrup
- 1⁄2
- passion fruit as garnish
- 2 oz
- sparkling white wine
Shake it Up
- Shake all ingredients, except for the sparkling wine, with ice
- Double strain into coupe
- Garnish with half a passion fruit
- Pour sparkling wine into a sidecar (small [shot] glass) and serve on the side
Notes & Review
The original recipe calls for no lime, two ounces of purée instead of just one, and two barspoons of vanilla sugar - this all according to an interview with Douglas via PUNCH magazine.
The original also used Passoã passion fruit liqueur and Funkin passion fruit purée, supposedly.
