
A simple, three ingredient cocktail created by Daisuke Ito, a bartender in Tokyo.
Riffs abound for this cocktail and every bar seems to have their own scotch of choice for it; whether a blended scotch like Dewar's or Monkey Shoulder, or a single malt.
The proportions for the original are definitely on the small side, so feel free to up by 1.5 or 2x.
We tried it with the original spec, and you can see it doesn't really fill up a small coupe. Used Monkey Shoulder for the scotch. The cocktail is definitely drinkable, but in our opinion, feels a bit confused and unbalanced; depending on the lemon, you might want to add a touch of simple syrup.
