Ingredients

1 oz: Appleton Estate Signature Blend Rum
1 oz: Bols Genever
1 tsp: Galliano Ristretto
¹⁄₂ tsp: St. George Absinthe
¹⁄₄ oz: cane sugar syrup
1 dash: The Bitter Truth Aromatic Bitters
1: orange twist

Stir it Up

Stir all ingredients over ice
Strain into double rocks glass with 1 large ice cube
Garnish with orange twist

Background & History

Named after Ernest Hemingway's first wife, Elizabeth Hadley Richardson.

Notes & Review

A unique cocktail, great as an after-dinner drink. The disparate ingredients blend together to make something lovely, reminiscent of a chocolate peppermint candy..but with a lotta booze.

I used Lucid Absinthe in place of St. George. Crazy how far half a teaspoon goes.
