Ingredients

mezcal

Aperol
1⁄2 oz
Luxardo Maraschino Originale Liqueur
3⁄4 oz
lime juice

grapefruit twist as garnish

Shake it Up

  1. Shake all ingredients over ice
  2. Strain into coupe
  3. Garnish with grapefruit twist

Background & History

One of the 20 drinks on the original cocktail menu at Mayahuel when it opened in 2009. Phil Ward named it after the Pink Floyd album of the same name, which he was listening to on repeat during Mayahuel's construction.

Notes & Review

Del Maguey San Luis del Rio, Del Maguey Chichicapa, or Del Maguey Vida mezcals are recommended; although it's unclear which was used in the original.
