- Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon (Elijah Craig 12-Year)
- 1 oz
- grapefruit juice
- 1 tsp
- lemon juice
- 1⁄2 oz
- acacia honey syrup
- 1
- grapefruit twist as garnish
Shake it Up
- Shake all ingredients with ice
- Strain into coupe
- Garnish with grapefruit twist
Notes & Review
An enjoyable cocktail but the grapefruit doesn't work as well with whiskey as lemon does, and depending on the grapefruit you use, this comes off as under-sweetened. Could potentially use 3/4 oz of syrup. But in the end, I think the Gold Rush is more enjoyable and uses one less ingredient.
