Salty, savory, acidic, a touch spicy, and viscous, this famous brunch / hair of the dog cocktail is a meal in itself and quite enjoyable if mixed and seasoned well. The celery salt rim is optional, but adds a nice salty kick to every sip. The celery stick garnish doubles as a stir stick to make sure the ingredients don't settle too much. Green olives, gherkins, and bacon (and even the occasional mini-hamburger) are common garnishes as well.
