Buffalo Trace Bourbon
Directions
- Soak pecan halves in water for 20 minutes
- Strain pecans and spread on a baking sheet
- Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne
- Bake in oven at 300 degrees for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally and being careful not to burn the pecans
- Let cool to room temperature
- Combine pecans and bourbon in a container and stir well
- Let rest at room temperature for 1 week, stirring occasionally
- Strain through a cheesecloth-lined sieve
