Ingredients

6 tbsp
cumin seeds
2 c
sugar
2 c
water

Directions

  1. Toast cumin seeds in a dry skillet over medium-low heat until fragrant
  2. In saucepan, combine sugar and water, bring to a boil, and stir constantly until sugar is dissolved
  3. Remove from heat and stir in cumin seeds
  4. Cover and let stand for 6 hours
  5. Strain through a cheesecloth-lined sieve
